For five years now, I have worked as a Senior IT Technical Analyst. I serve as the escalation point for complex workstation, mobile device management, and print management issues. I led large-scale IT projects focused on endpoint configuration, cloud services, and enterprise security protocols, ensuring seamless operations and compliance. My role involved designing and implementing endpoint policies and lifecycle management in collaboration with IT Security to enhance security and standardization. I administered and managed SCCM and Intune, overseeing software deployment, patch management, and configuration policies while driving optimization efforts for Windows workstations and mobile devices. Beyond technical expertise, I mentored junior IT staff, fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the department. I developed automation solutions through scripting and AI-driven workflows, streamlining processes for efficiency. Additionally, I participated in a 24/7 on-call rotation, ensuring rapid resolution of critical system maintenance and incident response challenges.
I spent the previous seven years working within an Academy environment in all areas as the Technical Services Manager, Network/System Admin, and helpdesk Specialist. As part of a small team, my responsibilities include maintaining a stable heterogeneous OS platform and working directly with my CIO and CFO. I also manage the helpdesk and staff, which includes eight student workers and one full-time staff member, to coordinate and maintain a very stable environment.
I maintain a virtual and physical environment and provide technical assistance to the various departments on campus. I recently Project Managed, from start to completion, our VoIP Phone system technology upgrade from an on-premise PBX to a cloud-based PBX system. I also coordinated and managed our virtual system upgrades from VMware 4.5 to 5.5, including moving both virtual and physical servers from 2003 to 2008 R2, then 20012, respectively. I am familiar with dealing with diverse campus users with different levels of experience and learning styles. My top priorities are learning various management and security applications, such as Safe Connect, a campus BYOD management application, and training my staff.
